| Dispensation |

Dispensation is a process of application, assessment and approval for a player to play outside of their natural age/grade. Dispensation can be applied for in the following categories;
- Age / Grade – for players who’s experience, skill, ability and/or size for age (height and weight), may deem them suitable for a competition other than their natural age.
- Mixed Gender – for girls over 12 years of age to play in a mixed gender team in the Under 13, Under 14 and Under 15 age groups where no other opportunity to play regular Rugby exists.
- Senior Grades – for players turning 16 or 17 years of age in the calendar year, who wish to play senior rugby.
- Disability – for players with a physical and/or intellectual disability to play in an age grade that is appropriate to their physical development, ability and experience.
- Gender Identity – for players who identify as a gender that is different to that listed on their birth certificate, to participate within their identified gender.
