I am the manager for the third grade development squad and have played for the club. I am the father of two Jnr boys, am an Engineer by trade and spent 15 years in the British Army. I completed Mental Health First Aid Course and joined the Wellbeing Team because I know how important a healthy and safe social environment is for all our members, young and old. My experience after leaving my the Army has driven me to want to help others and help our club remain a positive and happy place for all our members.

I manage the U18s, am a mum to a current player and in my working life, I am a Child and Youth worker for the State Govt. I am particularly passionate about supporting young people and providing a nonjudgmental reference point, and safe space to reach out.

I’m a lawyer by trade, with an interest in sports governance, and mother of a current player. Along with being a member of this team, I’m also the Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) for the club. When not at the rugby, I deal with professional misconduct for a large Not For Profit Organisation, helping to ensure a child safe environment. I’m passionate about wellbeing and see this as part of the broader safeguarding framework.

I played for the lower grades, finishing up about 4 years ago. I say played, more like I just ran around bumping into people. I’m a Registered Mental Health Nurse and I work in the ED at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. With over 20 yrs experience in this area, I’ve joined the Wellbeing team because I’d like to able to offer support and information to those directly or indirectly affected by Mental Health problems, and to help the club achieve its aim of providing a safe, secure environment for all our members to enjoy.
