Our club is proud to have recently established the BRUFC Wellbeing Team. Their role is to promote communication among members, promote wellbeing and positive health within the BRUFC community, assist members of our club community who may be experiencing a mental health problem, refer to professional services and to listen and chat without judgement!
Our Wellbeing Team have a range of experience and knowledge including Mental Health First Aid, Registered Mental Health Nursing, & Child, Youth & Family Intervention Work.

DM | Jodie Moroney
Jodie manages our U18s, and is mum to a current player. Jodie works in Child, Youth and Family Intervention for the State Govt and is particularly passionate about supporting young people and providing a nonjudgemental sounding board and reference point.
DM | Paula Davies
Paula is a lawyer by trade, with an interest in sports governance, and mother of a current player. Along with being a member of this team, she is also the Member Protection Information Officer (MPIO) for the club. When not at the rugby, she deals with professional misconduct for a large Not For Profit Organisation, helping to ensure a child safe environment. Passionate about wellbeing and sees this as part of the broader safeguarding framework.
